Healthcare conflict

I ahve an friend who is trying to help a disabled person.He is confined to a wheelcare .He has had 27 surgeries so far.I asked her to send me more information on him and to include some pictures.Why? Because this guy seems caught in the trap.Cant get money or taxes and disability payment eats it.He lives in a garden shed on some land that someone lets him stay for free.A garden shed and hes confined to a wheelchair.
People are trying to help .They bargained for a foundation on this land to build a small home.Government interfered again.Now I said maybe someone can set up a trust fund for him?Anyone know?
He seems in a rut and stuck.How can out government give 20 billion dollars to a rich nation like Saudi Arabia and 30 billion to ISRAEL and not take care of there own people?Oh yeah this is in Texas too.
I will post some pics as soon as they arrive and update the information.I just found out today.Keep looking and when the pics are up maybe someone will have some info on what may be done.

Well I sold my ride,It was a 1992 Geo tracker that I got for free on craigslist.
The young man that had it couldn't get it to start.Changed the battery and cables filter oil and even looked at the ignition switch.Too bad he didn't look at the fuses.
Yep it was a fuse not in right.Seems he had put a stereo in and put a hot wire in too the fuse box.The wrong way too.He put it direct to the fuse and that caused a dissimilar metal to corrode. Well after a damp time it wouldn't start.
So dad bought him a new one and he gave it to me.
I drove it for 3 months and it got 32 mpg had a/c and all i put on it was a mirror.Sold it for 1200.00
Is that a bargain or what?

Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has welcomed new figures showing that the destruction of the Amazon rainforest has decreased by 25%.

President Lula said this had prevented the release of millions of tonnes of CO2 gas into the atmosphere.

The government says environmental policies, including measures against illegal logging, have had an effect.

I don't understand my oldest child's fears? He is always angry about nothing.Today he punched a wall.Again.This time the wall was concrete.Maybe its broken but I doubt it.
What was it this time? Well he has to go to a school dance.It is mandatory.By me not the school.He gets a upgrade in the school points system and he needs all the help he can get.Not that he doesn't try.This boy tries so hard to do well it is saddening sometimes .And the other one sleeps all the time even in class and has good grades.Although i am on him to do more.But the oldest just stays angry.
What to do.
This school function is a dance so i do not understand.I know he is infatuated with girls.
Hes m15 by the way.
And to be able to up his grade by going to a dance is a gimme in my book.
Well i talk him down to calm every time.I don't know how since My dad left when I was 3 and started another family.
Where does it comes from ?Only God knows.And i pray each day my son will leave this demon out one day.He is such a good boy

Big business now censoring free speech

A.T&T is now censoring content that they deem not suitable.Specifically at the broadcast loopalzooza they cut sections out of the band:pearl jam:s music.In fact two different songs that had words THEY determined were not suitable to family situation
What were the words you ask? Well it was really censoring thee song that had a course about The President that may or may not be negative depending on how you interpret it.
Of course they said it was an accident after fans called the band and notified them that certain :shall we say :political : parts were sung.And it was 2 different songs so there is no way it was an accident.
After all aren't they already spying for the government?
I used to be a strict loyalist to A.T&T but lately they have done wrong in my eyes.
For me this is the third strike.You are out.
See big business is what runs this country now.No more individuality or freedoms.

Vote them out.Elect new senators,congress, mayor fire chief.Show them we want our country back.

Depressed

Ever have one of those blah days?
Well for me today is that day.It turned out fine when I woke up but I felt different.I knew today was going to be a depressing day but not this low.Yes I'm not crazy its just that ever since my accident I tend to feel the weather changes coming ,the migraines and the depression.I have been keeping a daily diary and it needs to be updated.
I think i will start putting input of the weather just to see if my diagnoses is correct.Because the quacks i mean doctors don't seem to care.
I mean I go to them and then they ask the same boring questions and then when I talk they don't listen or say no one can feel the weather its a wives tail. Yeah right.
It did storm today and rained off and on.
Which is a good thing in the desert but I can't seem to break this depression mode .
Only when I sleep do I not feel it.I can't sleep all the time.
One day I would like to get up and be how I was before the accident.But now only i know I'm down I look the same and dress the same.And people still ignore me because hey I'm a scary looking guy to most.
Need someone to scare you ex I'm the guy.Need to get that friend away from you daughter or son?I'm the one.I did it once for a friend a long time ago.His 12 year old daughter was seeing a 18 year old.He couldn't talk with his daughter or convince her to stop.SO one day at his house he asked me to put the scare in this boy.
All i did was when the 2 came back to the house i just went up to the girl and hugged her which was normal and glared at him with a look that could kill.After being introduced as a close friend the daughter went to get a drink in the kitchen for here boyfriend.Well i used the time to lean over and say that i sure don't want to go to prison again for someone like him.
She complained to her dad the next day that her boyfriend dumped her for some unknown reason.Which gave him the opportunity to say "see I knew he was no good: after that she went back to her own age group never trusting older guys and always asking her parents for advice.

This is normal.When the poor paid employees don't like something they strike.Not like here where you are afraid you would loose your job.Of course you would.Brazilians have more rights than Americans hands down.If you get fired in Brasil you continue to get paid for a long time.Even if you get another job.Ans they get up to 6 months vacation a year paid.If they decide to work they get paid triple time and if a holiday happens to come they get it off and get paid too.
The American government in Brasil gets Brasilian and American holidays and get paid.In Brasil there are lots of holidays so we pay government people to live in Brazil and work total of 5 months.

Today i see that someone in congress is pushing to give a 30 billion dollar tax break to china mart,I mean Waly mart.Come on .They don't even treat their employees well and now they need a tax break.The biggest retailer in the world.Hell they don't even pay their baggers in Mexico.That's right they work only on tips that they may or may not get.
You know what it is time for some trickle up economics.Give people who make under 100,000.00 a year a tax break.No taxes what so ever for ten years lets say.It would be a boom.
People would scramble to buy more the retailers would make a better profit more items sold need for more workers.AND who pays for it?
How about the DOD, they have at least one trillion dollars floating around so let them pay.Its out money anywhere.Why does the DOD need all that they get.SO they can train foreign pilots how to fly under telephone wires in Arizona.
yeah it happened they flew a helicopter into a high tension power grid landed and when the news asked for info on who it was no one knew.When the sheriff was told the news never said anything after that.No one knew why they had no power for 2 days/
Its because they were training foreigners how to fly under the radar so to speak.
SO there is the funds to pay for this.Stop training people for free and give the USA its money back.Lets get this going.

If I didn't do my job(when I was working)I would be let go for neglect or insubordination.Why do the voters allow the same politicians to stay in POWER?You need to vote them out.The country was designed to replace politicians not for it to become a career.
So now a bridge falls and kills who knows how many at this point.We pay taxes and extra taxes in gas revenue to make these road repairs and that includes bridges to be replaced when the are in disrepair.The politicians that pork the money to there special interest groups need to be fired too.
It won;t happen until the voters change their attitude.The last two times I voted I did not vote for one person that was currently in seat.I always vote to put someone new in.These old cronies have enough and we need a fresh AMERICA.Not a walker politician that never sees the real people.CHANGE THE VOTE

WHO's Afraid of ME?

It turns out that allot of people are.Its not that I'm mean its that I was born mean looking.I can walk into anyplace and people will become nervous.Ive been told by fellow workers that when they first met me they new I would murder them.I have always noticed that some will stay clear for awhile.It is only after a few months that people will start to be at ease with me.That is not the case with my family of course because they grew up around me and my wife is blind.
When my boys ask why there friends wont come over I have to explain that TV categorizes looks into good bad etc.
But its always the nice looking ones that are the worst. In my opinion.
If you need someone to come scare off an ex just hire me.I guarantee that they will back down and high tail it away.All I need is a meal and a cot.
Strange but little kids really like me .I was at the orphanage one day and there was a 4 year old just brought in.She wouldn't talk to anyone and would stay away from the other kids but the director took us in her room and she got out of bed and just came to me.I was in tears as she hugged me and called me papai.
I spent the 3 hours there playing with her and getting her to play with the other children.It was sad to go but i will never forget that little child.
The day is coming close to finish the adoption and I still don't have the funds to go.
Do you think ill make it there?

Fear of Flying

A lot of people still have a fear of flying and with the recent accidents it makes it much worse.Having flown for many years in aircraft that was being repaired or to see what a problem might be.Its called a maintenance flight.
I can assure you that it is safer to fly than ride in a car.The odds of dying in an airplane are like 1 in 25 million.versus the odds in a car.A car accident is 1 in 5000.
Do you like the odds?
The reason you are scared is you aren't driving the plane so you feel unprotected but believe me their are many pilots with many skills and lots of hours.If you just relax and think it is a bus trip then you will be okay.

True .My mother in law is one of those people that if she doesn't do it it was done wrong.
I made dinner and all she could say was its OK.But if I was to say that to her she would run to her room and cry for 2 days.One day my wife and I were complaining that we itched all the time.I thought it strange that only we did until I asked the boys.They both said that's why they shower 4 times a day.So I question my wife on what laundry detergent she was using cause maybe it was the soap.Well she assured me that it was not the soap.
So I assisted her in doing the laundry one day and saw what brand she used.It seemed to be a good one.After starting the first load we retired to the den to watch a show when I noticed her mom go upstairs.
The laundry room is there and I heard the washing machine get louder.Hey someone went into the laundry room.At that moment the washer stopped and I
know I heard the door shut .Then the machine started again.
So now I'm thinking she put more clothes in but maybe not.
Well after the show I went up and put the washed clothed in the dryer and a new load in the washer.But just to be sure I marked the soap box on where the level was and placed a dime on top.
Sure enough as soon as I came down up goes the mom.Off goes the machine then back on.
After the machine stopped I went up removed the dry clothes folded them and proceeded to remove the second load.But first I checked for the dime.GONE.And the soap level was down too.
After a conversation with my wife she questioned her mother and she admitted to putting soap in but accused me of not putting it in.
Itchy problem solved.She was doubling the soap amount and we were getting it on our skin which was causing us to itch.She still goes in and adds soap to this day because only she knows the right amount and we couldn't possibly know how to wash clothes.
The funny thing is we have 1 of those new washer that requires little soap and you can only put so much in.So she was complaining after we told her that this machine uses less water and soap.Now I'm waiting to see how she adds more water.

63 MPG CAR

Honda announced that in 2010 a diesel Honda accord will be available that gets a whopping 62.8 MPG.
I know i put 63 but imagine what some people that fine tune there cars will get 75 85 MPG? It is strange that the so called big 3 haven't even come close.When are the old executives going to let new fresh ideas come in and get this American market booming?
Of course diesel is more expensive here in the US and for what i don't know.Any other country the diesel is cheaper.Maybe the refiners turn oil into gas first and then revert it back to diesel.You see diesel is cheaper to manufacture than gas but then since the trucks and farm machinery use diesel the big conglomerates want to squeeze all those pennies from your wallet.
But at least we will have a better manufactured car that lasts longer and gets better MPG than the BIG 3.

Another Air Crash

Picture from 2 helicopters that collided in Phoenix,az .The 2 copters were news crews following a police chase near Indian School area.They were in the air with at least 2 other copters.Maybe the FAA will look into preventing these chase helicopters from congregating so much.As there have been many documented near misses of this type.
Of course since this is arizona and everyone comes here to retire maybe the local FAA won.t spend to much time here.Thats right even the senior FAA people move here when they have seniority. Maybe they should cycle in some young blood and stop placing all your eggs(old eggs) in 1 basket.
Of course this wont be a national thing because after all it was just a local new reporters and pilots.

I just want to talk a little bit.I'm sitting here listening to the helicopters land and take off.I am near a hospital about 2one kilometer .6 miles.It is nice to here them as I used to work on them for 30 years but would not go back to that again.It is to much of a disappointment to watch unqualified people move into management positions only because they are yes men.Believe me Have seen lots of this in the industry.It seems that the pilots all work in a brotherhood to keep the mechanics out.Don't they appreciate our taking care of them.?
I mean do you know how easy it would be to just tweak something to make them:disappear:.The times they get caught lying about there on duty and off duty times not to mention the drinking problems that are always covered up.The FAA has no idea what really goes on.At least 90 percent is not reported.And other items that should be reported are not.
I've seen pilot deliberately overfly required inspection to make the revenue only to have management threaten the job of the mechanic if he didn't back date it.
And you See the results on the news.
Why did the Brazil flight go down?Because someone ordered the mechanic to dis arm the reverse thruster and allow it to be flown..It should be up to the maintenance to provide safety not their bean counters.
This has always been a major problem and will continue until there is a distinct difference in flying and maintenance.

Why is it that when you go to customer service it takes forever to get service?
Today I went to a local grocery store to buy a money order.As I waited I saw numerous staff walking by and none at the counter.I finally ask one employee if anyone was assigned there today and she pointed out an employee talking to another employee.Just giggling and talking.I approached her and asked if she could help me.She smiled and said yes.Well when I went back to her counter she continued talking.After another 10 minutes another customer joined me.I informed her I had already been there 10 minutes or so.She questioned if anyone was there and I pointed the lady out.Just then another customer arrived and she went to the person and asked for assistance.At this point I saw her turn to come back to work then grinned turned around and continued talking.
What the hell?After 15 minutes and a line of 8 people or so she waddled over and asked the last person in line if they needed help?I am in ghost mode.Not complaining or shifting around No i am a ghost.The others pointed out I was there first and when she acknowledged she responded that she decides who goes first.\At this point I was beside myself.Did she own the store.?I think not she was just being rude.
I left to find a manager and he was on his break so he said after his break he could talk to me.WHAT THE HELL.?
True I don.t need this and nobody should be this rude.
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO TO A FRY'S FOOD store again.KROGER OR SMITHS THEY ARA all the same chain.

Well Brazil announced plans to expand the money into aviation.But it looks like they already did that back in April of this year only to have it cut and the funds go to the military. Who by the way run the air traffic.Wow just like the USA the military gets it uses it for nothing but war games and then claims they cant do it because they don't have the money.Looks like these accidents are from the military complex of Brazil .Just like the USA Iraq problems.Maybe the USA could have done better if they new where the trillions of dollars that are missing went.
Maybe the lost money bought some sandwiches for the poor or some books for the undereducated. LETS BE SURE IT DID NT HELP PAY TAXES OR FIX ANY ROADS AND DID NOT BETTER THE LIVES OF AMERICANS.

Today started out being rather cool but got muggy as it progressed.I can feel the pain in my head and lower back as there is a change coming on. Doctors try to say its in your head but believe me it is not.When I talk to others they say they to can feel it in their bones.Why do doctors do that.They need to listen to the patient not belittle them.Well now at 8 pm the thunder storms roll in. Never had a TV till I was married at 31.She HAD to have a TV.It is nothing but stupid shows that numb your mind.My wife always wants me to watch with her and I do but always have something to read close by because it is not for me.Go ahead and watch it just let me read or do something we will be fine

A tragedy

Having been in aviation for 30 years I am still devastated when there is a crash .And now there is one in Brazil.I have flown more than the average business person and still feel comfortable to fly.I just dislike that lose of lives and the finger pointing that follows.It seems the majority of accident are blamed on the pilots but then they are dead so that's easy.There are more areas to observe though.I have seen and complained of deferred items.Those items that can be non functional for a certain time frame.Why? Money .Revenue.Greed .Call it what you will but that is the bulk.I have seen managers call on pilots from their homes or dinner parties and demand the pilot take a flight after said pilot turn downed for weather.And many don't stand up to them because their job is on the line now.They may make it to were they need to go but get stuck there or diverted .And if that happens then they need to fill out paperwork on why they accepted said flight.
The flight that crashed in SAO PAOLO seems to have had a reverse thruster inoperable.Why ?Who knows but he took the flight to a known airfields with a short runway.So when he had to stop he basically only had 1 brake sand on water.Who s fault? the mechanic who deferred,the manager that demanded the manufacturer for allowing deferrals the government for allow runway to stay open?Who gains from these tragedies?No one.Who stands to lose when a foreseeable item lurks?Everyone and then some innocent bystanders.
In my opinion the pilot should have grounded the aircraft due to weather and the air traffic controllers should have diverted air craft to another location.Plus in this case the city should expand the airport by imminent domain.Now after there is this tragedy do the money holder say they will make further repair.A famous saying with people I worked with was:you can pay now or pay later: the latter is always greater by 10

Someone left a comment that I should try to get a job.Well I wish that would happen.But if you read the title you'll see that I'm disabled.With a brain dysfunction plus a spinal injury that prevents me from holding a real job.You see once the unemployment office finds you are unemployable you are not able to get unemployment assistance.And the the Social services will say you can work at McDonald's.That's what they said yes.So no disability benefits.And since I have a back injury no one would hire me anyway I'd be a liability plus the fact I cant stand longer than 20 minutes without a sit down being needed.No I'm not out of shape. i still weight the same when i worked.I worked in the aviation field and was required to be on call 24 hrs/7.I would work rain or shine .And I did this for 30 years.
I had not planned the accident but I'm still hanging in there.And as I said this blog helps me to relieve stress and that is what it does.So thanks for the advice and have a nice day

Turns out she was a stranger in the house day. It really gets me to worrying about things.I can survive this and I will. But it would be nice to have a chat with someone that relates.Anyone care to comment? These women problems just seem to explode.I know how to treat it if i know when it will happen but i don't or cant keep track.I'm not good at that.
If only there was a little flag that would pop up or a light.Yeah a light then id know.Matter of fact maybe there should be an indicator button that we could see.But it didn't happen.

True today is Tuesday but i dislike Mondays too much.The truth be known the power went out for the third time this month.And i know the problem is the electric company wont replace antiquated systems.Although we pay higher and higher fees and including those that buy new homes.There is a fee imposed to upgrade the electric system all that goes in as profit and out as dividends.NO UPGRADES
The state should perform there job and ensure these upgrades happen.Now I'm waiting on the phone for 20 minutes just waiting for customer service.Are they in cahoots with the cell phone companies.I need to pay a bill and cant get through because they only have 1 person. i think not Something is amiss when you cant talk to anyone any more.Where is customer service when you have to wait so long and have to pay extra to pay and have to use your minutes to talk to some one
Someone once said time is money.They we rent making a statement THEY WERE STATING HOW TO CHARGE MORE FOR SERVICES.

CHEAP FERRY

Yes this is a ferry system to get from one beach to the next in Brazil.It is scary but just stay calm and in your buggy.These people are experienced.The cost is cheap 5 dollars or so,and you cross the streams or river mouths quietly.I just enjoy the ride on these plus they are non polluting with a friendly chat with the man who poles the raft along.

Gone fishing

While this fish is impressive I have personally caught some much larger.And I didn't use any bait.Its true all I use was a string with a knot on it.When I placed the string on the water it was less than 2 seconds that it was attacked.When i felt the tug of the line I Would pull fast with a jerking motion.The fish would appear on the deck and all I needed to do was stun it with a stick. Tasted real good too.
You see the supply boat that would come every 2 weeks had an accident on the way there and radioed he was headed back for repairs.Once that happened we were told it would be another 2 weeks before the other supply boat arrived.Since they didn't make non scheduled runs.So we subsisted on providing some of our meals for ourselves.Fish for me is the best.But some others demanded red meat.I just smiled and said: Please pass the fish.

Jungle life

A sloth climbing a tree.We once saved one of these although it was a baby from drowning in the swift river where we lived in house boats.It was barely alive by the time we got him.It stayed in our day tent where we worked from on the riverbank .And would be there in the morning when we left the boats.When a 3 week period had passed and he had started to eat some leaves we gave him for food one of the workers placed him at the base of a tree.All day he stayed there and night.Guess he didn't want to leave.The next day one other worker kept playing with him but i thought it more like taunting.When the sloth swiped his paw so fast no one saw it.The guys forearm turned red with fresh open wounds from the sharp nails.Told ya.Well later on after lunch we noticed he had moved up the tree about 1 foot.And by the end of our day he was 5 feet up.Boy are they slow.When they want to be.The next morning he was gone.Or so we thought.Around 5 pm there was a large crash behind our tent were he sloth fell out of the tree.After that we laughed and went inside.In the morning there he was 5 feet up the same tree.The following morning we never saw him or heard from him again.Wish i had a camera then but it was not allowed back then

Adoption

I and my wife are planning on adopting again.Yes did it twice now and i really would like to have family support.But every time it is the same thing.Dint adopt it is wrong You should leave them along.Well i cant just stand to see children abandoned.My first child was abandoned in the hospital and a nurse took him home since no one would care for him.Well she found out I would adopt him and called us.To make a long story short it took almost 2 years.And the major problem was the US consulate.I swear the guy in charge must have wanted money because every time i did what he wanted he would add another thing.When i asked why he said he forgot .He did that at least 6 times.Only only he transferred out,they do that every 3 years, and a new guy came in did it happen.He just stamped it.In the mean time while we were doing all the run around another child was left on my doorstep. he was 6 12 hours old.

I just found a way to find cheap airline flights and get air miles racked up.It has been a financial drain on me but I am willing to assist you if you care to increase your air miles and have a cheap flight anywhere in the world.
First email me with your request date(the 30 day time frame will get you better rate) to from and how many.I will email you the airline flt number date(s) and price.This of course requires a small 20 dollar fee.You dint pay me if you dint want to but it would sure help as I am unemployed with a disability.Remember that you are getting the cheapest flight even cheaper than velocity and orbit, and you will also be able to accrue more miles .So you must be flexible in your time.This is not a I need it today type thing at this time.If in the future you wish to we may be able to do this.thanks

A;right people I've had it with all the iphone stuff.If you look you will see that we are 15 years behind japan in there cell technology they have 3 g and soon four g and we barely have 2 g.WHY you asked? B because they want to pump every nickel out of your pocket that's why.
And what about the AT&T spying for the government ? Don't think that stopped do you. No now its even easier.Stick to the basic and save your money because soon you wont need a cell phone.
And why do i have to deduct minutes from my phone when someone calls me?Other countries don't do this and they also allow others to call you when your minutes are up.

Remember this is ranting Monday and Ive stat red a new theme.Every Monday i will vent my crazy anger here.Maybe then ill be calmer.
To the people who live near me i love this area full of Latinos and it is more family related but WHY ALL THE COPS?Every where here there are cops.At the grocery store the mall the sandwich shops.Did someone see a terrorist in the neighborhood?Maybe but Ive never seen one cop on the north side of town walking they supermarket parking lots.Is it because there white? Is it because you're not? Yes I'm white but my heart must not be because i love this Latino culture.Everyone is nice to me.Kids still play in the area and people talk to each other.
Someone needs to have some family values taught and i mean those white people from the north.Lighten up.Why did you come here?

I need to be home with mt family SOON.The boys are up to no good.One of them gave his homework assignment to a friend because he didnt think he needed it.Now he lost some grade points because of it and for some reason he beleives its not his fault.It has been tough 107 degrees outside and need to finish vacumming the front room cause the carpet cleaner is coming tomorrow.At first they said 8am til noon now noon til 430 pm wish they would make up their mind.
Need to relax im strung tight just want it all to go away but it wont so i need to hang tough.will make it going home as soonas i rent this one.wish me luck thanks for reading

Moving

Today i am leaving the home I rented and moving to the one left to rent.Remember that I need to rent before I may go back to Brazil and be with my family.It is a nerve racking time and my anxiety is high.I need to be calm .One group of renters wants to come in early today and the other one wants to wait and leave Sunday without paying.Boy is in for a shock.Not only is he supposed to pay by the first (Sunday) but he will be late and have to pay a 10% fee.And he thinks his deposit will cover the last 6 weeks of his rent .Plus he thinks he is doing me a favor by moving out.He did not want to renew and still has a lease for 6 weeks.The courts wont be favorable to him.
I will be off line for 3 days until I get into that home.I have already transferred the Internet service to there but for some reason they cant disconnect and reconnect on the same days.
Remember I still need to come up with ticket money to Brazil too

I tired of reading all the negative articles about the present government.Why won't someione do something about it?
Maybe because there is nothing wrong? Maybe because they are all involved one way or the other? Who knows the truth? The trith died along time age in 1963.We can't keep going on with this eye for eye mentality.Soon everyone will be blind.Most people are already and not our children are being raised blind.Not one time in 8 school years have my kids been taught history.Is this to hid the fact that bad things have happened? A beautiful parrot in my opinion.When I lived in Brazil in the 80's these could be purchased for 10 dollars.No wonder there is a black market on wildlife.I didn't buy one but was offered numerous times.They are a wonder of nature that should be left to be.I would see flocks of these while working in the jungle and just marveled at their beauty.They are no endangered as there habitat is slowly being removed.

A beautiful and rare site.These dolphins were once thought to be humans and still are thought that by some indigenous people. I saw one and was amazed at there beauty .You can only see these in the amazon region past Manaus.Many tour rides now where to go to catch a picture of them .

Well after 3 months I've finally rented the house only to be told by another tenant that he is breaking his lease and leaving.Good thing that 1 is furnished and ill be way more comfortable there til it rents. Should be fast as its near the university and furnished as i said .Plus theirs a 55 inch screen TV there.I just looking forward to the queen size bed and the convienence of walking to the grocery store.Its right around the corner.

This is an opera house that was brought op the Amazon piece by piece a long time ago.It is still a beautiful place to see today. It is located in Manaus a city 1000 miles up the Amazon river .From here is where the rivers white and black mix to start the Amazon river.But you can still travel west another 1200 miles or so with ease.

Yes i was born a redneck.Well not really but if I say where i was born everyone says REDNECK.But I was born to northerners and they spoke English so I really wasn't excepted by the real rednecks.Any way I still talk with a redneck voice when another talks to me and I fit right in.However it embarrasses my family except my youngest who says house with 3 syllables anyway.He went to a little redneck school and can;t get rid of it.I love southern food and it is just like northern Brazil food so nuf said.

A blue frog.A poisonous one at that.Just touching one can cause you to be ill or worse.These colourful frogs are everywhere in the jungle and still you want to grab it .I knew better but saw someone once pick one up and lick it.He was ill for a week.And no he did not get high.

I don't have any photos for this .Wish I did as it was and is an exciting time from my life.In 1991 I was contracted to watch some aircraft in Brazil.As it was I had to go to the jungle part and the Brazilian bosses loved to leave me there.I guess they thought the stupid gringo would panic and need to get out.But I was in love not only was I away from all but it was a calming effect on me.But you could see other workers just waiting to go home.I was in the jungle once for 110 days straight.And the most I saw anyone there was 21 days.
However there may have been some that stayed longer but where i was that was not the case.
We lived on a boat in a tributary to the west of Manaus's about 880 kilometers maybe more.No roads at all then.You can find the place on Google maps.Look for URUCU or something like that.Imagine every day waking up and sitting in the jungle just watching the river flow by .What a sight.More on these adventures to follow

Renting a dune buggy for the day is both fun and inexpensive.If you happen to come to the end of one beach you may pass to the next via a ferry.It is fun way to visit many places with out the traffic woes on the main roads.Stay in the car and dont rock.

Ever wonder why the US only gets on the average 2 weeks a year off while the rest of the world is more like 30?
So whats up with that?Of course the government people get 30 days or more.And why? Aren't they supposed to separate church from state?I say let them work the holidays take away those days we have the right to demand this.Hey they can put there money where there mouth is so to speak.They force schools to remove all religious symbol's.And no nativity scene in the town square.So no holiday vacation days either I say.
Congress can stay and work.Are they not paid to? And don't they have a great retirement package plus others.

The largest cashew tree in the world.This tree has a circumference of 500 metres and occupies an area of 7,300m², making it 70 times the size of average cashew trees.This tree is really comprised of a main trunk and when the branches became to heavy the limbs lowered to the ground and re rooted .It is amazing to see and is in a small town nearby calledPirangi. Yes cashews come from a tree and are a delicious fruit .The nut is actually a sac located on the bottom of the fruit that is full of acid.It is roasted to remove the acids and what we eat in the US is the result.Although fresh cashew is the best. Also you must have the juice it is addictive.
